The TDSFL has, today (Sunday 27th December), advised that all of its playing operations are suspended with immediate effect until at least Saturday 16th January ref COVID 19 protocols. Our Division Three home game with Norton Fitzwarren Reserves set for Saturday 2nd January and our Rowbarton Charity Knockout Cup Third Round game with Norton Fitzwarren Firsts set for Wednesday 20th January at the Bridgwater and Taunton College’s 3G facility at Parkway in Bridgwater are hereby postponed. We await further advice
There is a planned PPA Meeting on Saturday 27th February from 10.30am, perhaps via Zoom, as we look to reform the Association for 2021 and drive it forward as part of the Club’s set up for the season ahead.

Wellington Reds, Wellington Cricket Club’s winter sporting section, were able to get a game in on the weekend before Christmas when their Taunton and District Saturday League Division Three match was moved from what would have been a very boggy situation in West Somerset to the all weather facility at Parkway in Bridgwater and Connor Sellick’s team came away with a point through a well worked equaliser from Joe Conway Junior and are up to eighth in the thirteen team
Wellington Reds, Wellington Cricket Club’s winter sporting section, will have better days in Division Three of the Taunton and District Saturday League than they did last Saturday at Wellington Playing Field Pitch Two when in form side Old Inn, from Bishops Hull in Taunton, put nine goals past the Reds for just one in reply.
