Wellington 2nd XI equalled their lowest ever team score last weekend in Division Four of the Somerset League when they were all out for 27 against Weston Super Mare based side Lympsham and Belvedere as they put in a fine all round show and so gained promotion for next season as a consequence. Wellington 2nd XI travelled to Wembdon’s superb new set up last weekend in Division Four of the Somerset League and found the home club’s 2nd XI to be a more robust proposition than was the case when they had met at Wellington in June and fell to a 189 run defeat on a what was a hard day’s cricket.
