Dear all, We are delighted that the UK Government has given the green light for recreational cricket in England* to return from Saturday July 11. The Past Players Association has kindly agreed to sponsor the purchase of two rolls of matting that will enhance the playing surface of our outdoor net facility… Such matting will make for a more realistic batting and bowling experience all round… Many thanks go to the PPA for their latest investment in the Club.
The evening of Thursday 16th August saw the third meeting of Wellington Cricket Club’s Past Players Association XI and a Club President’s XI in a T20 format game and the outcome was a first win for the PPA, by eight wickets.
