Wellington Bowling Club which is situated in Corams Lane opposite Wellington Sports Centre has an Outdoor green which is maintained to a very high standard with the surrounding gardens achieving second place in the Large Garden class of the Wellington in Bloom Competition 2003. We have Invalid access via a rear gate and we own an invalid bowling wheelchair.
In the winter we have a single Indoor Rink which is in use from 9-30am till 10-30pm everyday of the week, not only by our Club but also surrounding Clubs who enter teams.
The bowlers have use of three large dressing rooms complete with lockers, one for Ladies, Gents, and Visitors, together with adequate toilet facilities including an invalid toilet.
A comfortable lounge greets the members with a reasonably priced bars open for Matches and Social Occasions. A small but well fitted kitchen dispenses teas and light meals for players. We can cater for parties of up to eighty people and occasionally hold functions in the lounge.
