1) Somerfest Programme of Events highlights all the events going on in Somerset Square, Goodlands Gardens, North Street and Castle Green.
There are a range of bands, street acts, arts, a parade and a range of sports.
2) North Street Map. There will be street races from 10.30am – 12.00pm between Top Shop and Debenhams.
This will be followed by a parade from 12.00pm – 12.30pm. The Street is then divided as per the map for a range of sports from 12.30pm – 4.00pm.
At 4.00pm the parade will return from Castle Green and go along North Street ending at Somerset Square.

Meeting agendas for our gathering at Wellington AFC on Wednesday 26th June from 7.30pm have gone out via e-mail and post today.
All Clubs and others as appropriate are asked to attend this vital meeting.

The Federation’s Executive will be meeting at The Cottage Inn, Champford Lane, Wellington on Tuesday 30th April from 7.30pm; the usual briefing notes will be issued to all Club Reps after this meeting.

Out next full meeting is on Wednesday 26th June from 8.00pm at Wellington Football Club.
Minutes from last Thursday’s meeting will be issued by the end of the weekend.

There will be a meeting of the Federation’s Executive on Tuesday 2nd April from 7.30pm at The Cottage Inn; a set of briefing notes will be issued as is the accepted way after such meetings to all Federation Representatives.

The Federation Executive is to ask the member Clubs to consider the name that should be applied to Wellington Playing Field Pavilion once it is open for business.
Club representatives will see this matter will be reflected in the set of Briefing Notes they will be receiving soon and they are asked to take this matter to their Management Committees for debate and to bring the detail of these discussions to the full Federation meeting on Thursday 11th April.

A generous grant of £500 has been made to WDSF by Somerset County Council via Cllr Andy Govier who is a member of the Council and a Patron of Federation.
This grant will be used to deliver a memorable official opening ceremony to Wellington Playing Field Pavilion later this year.
