Wellington 2nd XI’s Somerset League Division Six South match at home to their Staplegrove counterparts last Saturday got as far as both teams assembling, but no further as a couple of really heavy showers put paid to any chance of play. It was a full points win for Wellington 2nd XI in Division Six South of the Somerset League at home over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend as Alex Troake’s team took 35 points from their six wicket win over Taunton St Andrews 4th XI.
