Back to winning ways
DESPITE atrocious conditions, Wellington got back to winning ways by beating Longwell Green 3-1 at the Playing Field.
On a rain-sodden pitch, Wellington took an early lead through Craig Herrod, who also went close on two other occasions in the first half.
After the break, the weather got worse but Wellington added further goals through Daniel Short and Nick Woon before Longwell Green scored a late consolation goal.
