Wellington’s opening Sunday XI game of the season was a washout at Devon Premier League Club Sidmouth last weekend due to the rainband that pushed through in the morning and saw no play would be possible.

Wellington entertained fellow WEPL Somerset Division side Minehead last Saturday in a pre-season home friendly and the Red and Blacks secured a three run win in what was a good work out for both sets of players.
