A smart use of social media saw that Wellington were able to add an extra game to their pre-season schedule when a side composed of 2nd and 3rd XI players travelled to Somerset League Division Three Club Kilve following their Twitter based request for a game and the home side edged a compelling low scoring game last Saturday. Wellington entertained fellow WEPL Somerset Division side Minehead last Saturday in a pre-season home friendly and the Red and Blacks secured a three run win in what was a good work out for both sets of players. Minehead asked Wellington to bat first in what was a 45 overs per side match and steady progress was made as Arron Campbell crafted a good knock of 41 with Kayden Hine and Alex Sparks offering support with knocks of 16 and 11.
