Our Development sub committee of Cricket Development Officer Simon Spalding, Club Welfare Officer Ivor Mitchell and Club Secretary David Derrick has today completed several tabs in our Club Development Plan for 2012-2013; this is a vital piece of work as it is used to determine how we progress as a Club in many areas of our playing operation.

The meeting also signed off against being satisfied that we are internally compliant with our Club Mark accreditation and this report has been sent to the Somerset Cricket Board for processing – we expect to be issued with our continuing compliance statement from SCB soon and this will see us operating as a Club Mark club for a third season.

We are due a full assessment in 2014 and with our new facility fully in place by then we will be well placed to continue to show excellence in this respect.
