Start Times for SCL Matches – 14, 21 and 28 August 2010

This weekend will be the last one for this season when the 1st XI will start at 1.45pm and the 2nd XI at 2.00pm as the SCL rules state that the last three matches of the season start 30 minutes earlier. Thus 1st XI matches with Watchet at home, at Ashbrittle and at home to Purnells will start at 1.15pm and 2nd XI matches at Wedmore, Frome at home and at Purnells will start at 1.30pm. Wellington Sunday XI completed a friendly double over West Somerset League Division Four side Trull last weekend when they got home by three wickets in a match that saw them dominate more than the final analysis may suggest. Wellington 2nd XI received great news that Frome 2nd XI had lost for the second time this season and in spectacular fashion too as Purnells 2nd XI chased down over 250 at Frome to win and thus cut the gap between the two top sides in Division Two of the Somerset League’s Reserves competition to just twenty seven points and with Frome still to play Langport at home and to come to Wellington before the season’s end there is now a chance
