Fifth successive win
Toolstation League division one: Wellington 3, Portishead 1
WELLINGTON made it five wins on the trot as two late goals saw them to a 3-1 victory at home to Portishead in Division One of the Toolstation League.
Skipper Simon Ingram gave them a second-half lead from the penalty spot after a handball but the visitors hit back through James Clarke after 73 minutes.
The hosts regained the lead in a hard-fought game when Craig Herrod crossed for Ali Pounde to net his first for the club.
And the points were secured soon after when substitute Mark Thompson turned in another cross from Herrod.
The win means Wellington remain six points clear at the top.
