Its our Annual Ladies Day event on Saturday 15th June at the Clubhouse… This is £5 per head and is open to all… All begins from 1.00pm… Details are available from Amanda Moysey…
Once more we will be hosting one of the Baker Cup’s Terry Mockridge Memorial Shield Semi Finals… We welcome North Perrott CC, from WEPL’s Premier Two (Bristol and Somerset Division) and Wembdon CC, from WEPL’s Somerset Division on Monday 17th June… Volunteers will be needed to set up and put away from the game…
As an extra social event to close out the 2019 season local 70s and 80s band Monopole will be playing live at WCC on the evening of Saturday 31st August… More details to follow… Remember too that we have ABBA’s Angels at WCC on Saturday 6th July; see Ali Campbell for details on that one…
A third successive season of All Stars Cricket, for the very youngest players at WCC, will start on Wednesday 8th May and run each week for eight weeks to Wednesday 26th June inclusive. The Ladies Section, in conjunction with Somerset Cricket Board, will be hosting a Bubbles and Bats Softball Event at WCC on the evening of Thursday 15th August from 6.00pm – 9.00pm… This promises to be a fun event anyway and will raise the profile of the Section following a great 2018… Much is planned in 2019 of which this is one aspect… More details to follow…
