Wellington 2nd XI v Staplegrove 2nd XI

Wellington 2nd XI’s Somerset League Division Six South match at home to their Staplegrove counterparts last Saturday got as far as both teams assembling, but no further as a couple of really heavy showers put paid to any chance of play. Both teams take twelve points from the cancellation. There was no match scheduled for the Red and Blacks third string in Division Seven Red of the Somerset League.

Wellington 3rd XI were met with a grey and windy proposition when they travelled to Stoke St Gregory in Division Seven Red of the Somerset League last weekend and were not able to capitalise on their opening day win as they went down by seven wickets collecting nine points for their efforts.
