Wellington v Minehead

After receiving the go ahead to start recreational cricket at last earlier in the month after the lockdown had eased and with the West of England Premier League having put a bubble structure in place in the meantime Wellington 1st XI were ready to go against fellow Somerset Division side Minehead in Bubble C last Saturday at home, but an almighty storm around midday washed the game away in the end as water pooled on the outfield and made the square totally wet.

In fact all four games in this bubble saw not a ball bowled.

Both teams took one point and next time out, on Saturday 1st August, Wellington travel to another fellow Somerset Division side in Wembdon for another Bubble C game.
