Wellington 165 Street 166-2
With four games left in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier League this season Wellington see that 37 points is all that separates second place from the bottom spot with the Red and Blacks in seventh place.
They travelled to Street last weekend and on choosing to bat first saw Neil Hendy and Nathan Roberts provide a good start with a 28 run opening stand; this was ended and the score dipped to 53-5 before Ollie Wilkins offered consolidation with a good knock of 21.
Good lower order contributions from Luke Desave (34), Jack Beal (17) and Rob Moysey with 24no saw Wellington to 165-9 in their 50 overs.
Bartlett with 3-31 in 10 overs Street’s best offering with the ball.
When Wellington had Street at 49-2 with a Ben Evett stumping and a Tyler Fyfe catch giving Rob Moysey both victims Wellington were in the game, but Trotman with 55no and Hill with 64no sealed the deal for Street with no further loss.
