Wellington U13s were destined for a top 4 finish in the 8 a-side West Division in the Taunton and District Youth league following Wiveliscombe’s inability to raise a side for the last fixture on Friday evening.

Their haul of 19 points from 10 games,realising 6 victories and a cancellation was a good return bearing in mind the small squad from which they had to choose and the regular use of players from the U11 squad.

With a couple of results to come in there was a chance they could finish in 3^rd position which would be an excellent result and credit must go to parents Andrew Weymouth and Charles Hansard who have stepped in to manage the side through most of the season.

There have been good performances from the likes of Jacob Hurry, Charlie Hawkings, James Weymouth and Oliver Hansard and with year 6 players Tom Hopkins, Tim Vellacott, Daniel Huntley, Matthias Richardson and the like to join the squad next season, an even better display could be seen.
