Wellington’s opening match of 2018 was, sadly, but understandably, called off in the week before it was due to take place as the recent poor weather saw that West Somerset League Club North Curry were unable to get on to their square and prepare a surface to play on for a game that was going to be between teams of 2nd XI standard from both Clubs with Saturday 14th April been the day for the game to take place.

If the weather is fair then more ground works are planned at Wellington Playing Field on the morning of Saturday 14th April and it is hoped that the season can commence at Yeovil CC on Sunday 15th April as teams of 1st XI standard meet…
