Friday evening sees the annual Wellington Cricket Club Youth Presentation Evening where the red carpet will be rolled out for the season’s trophy winners.

A B-B-Q is laid on starting at 5.30pm followed by the trophy presentations, to be carried out by Club Sponsors Dave Knight of DCK Garages and Rob Hunt of Wellington Self Storage.

Each age group will be awarding trophies to their top batsmen, top bowler, top player and each age group coach will have the chance to select their player of the season as well as mementoes to all children who have been involved with the youth training sessions.

The evening will take place, hopefully, with the backdrop of a friendly fixture taking place and it would be great to see as many children and their parents as possible to celebrate the season.
