Wellington Warriors made sure of qualification for the semi finals of the Somerset Cricket Board’s Under 19s T20 Blast Finals Day for 2016 by winning Finals Day Group D in style with a nine wicket win over Westlands in their second game.

The team from Yeovil opted to bat first and made a decent enough 80-2 in their innings with J.Fuller (31 ret) and White 25no leading the way as Nick Crossing and Sam Whitefield took the wickets for Wellington.

It was another clean get away with the bat from Ben Howe and Arron Campbell for Wellington as Howe with 17 was the only man out as he hit two more sixes.

Skipper Campbell made it to 35 with three sixes and retirement and the job was sealed by Sam Whitefield with 21no and Jack Beal with 6no and this set up a date with North Perrott Monkies in the semi final between the winners of Groups C and D.
