Thanks go to all who made our first ever venture into playing in coloured kit such a success last night when we hosted Deane Diamonds in the Under 19s 20/20 Blast competition.

Not only did Arron Campbell’s team put up such a good show in respect of their performance against a side which has played more of this sort of cricket than our young players, but the ‘buzz factor’ – a really important factor for the competition – was on show as we offered a barbecue and live musical accompaniment all evening long.

A match report will follow in the normal manner and now the team has a week off before playing Taunton Tornadoes on Tuesday 21st July and The Saints on Wednesday 22nd July.

We round off our group games with a visit from Minehead Pirates on Tuesday 28th July.
