Here is our Club Business Statement for 2013.

Wellington Cricket Club plays in the Wadsworth 6X West of England Premier Cricket League and the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset Cricket League on Saturdays in 2013.

The 1st XI were Somerset League Champions in 2012 and will compete in the WEPL’s Somerset Division this season.

The 2nd XI were Somerset League Division Four Champions in 2012 and will play in the SCL’s Division Three this season.
 
A 3rd XI is launched for this season and will play in the SCL’s Division Nine North West.

The club also has a Sunday XI that competes in Section A of the Somerset County Sports Sunday League and finished third in 2012; when not in league action this side has a full non-league fixture list too.

There is a Midweek XI also; this side plays evening 20/20 fixtures and matches with sides who are touring the area.

Sunday cricket is the responsibility of Alex Sparks (League XI Captain – alex_sparks@hotmail.co.uk) and Charlie Davies (Non League XI Captain – dcharli122@aol.com).
 
Midweek XI cricket is run by Simon Rudd (sales@getpaddedup.co.uk). 
 
A well defined junior section comprises Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age group teams that all compete in the appropriate Towergate Insurance Taunton and District Youth League Western Section division.
 
In 2012 the Under 11s and Under 15s were divisional winners and ther Under 13s claimed third spot.

The ground is off Courtland Road, very close to Wellington town centre and offers a large playing surface with covers, two outdoor nets and sight screens. four large changing rooms, a generous hot shower facility and a fully stocked bar which is open on all senior match days and junior match days by arrangement.
 
For 2013 the Clubhouse is undergoing a complete refurbishment.
