Terry Jones and his team from Wellington Rugby Club won the WCC Christmas Sports Quiz that was held at The Long Hop bar on the evening of Sunday 11th December; with a score of 97 out of 120 they took the prize by just one point.

Thanks to all thirteen teams who took part, to Simon Rudd for setting the questions and organising the event and Amanda Moysey for doing the bar and to those who prepared a buffet supper.

There are still a few places left for the WCC Christmas Meal which takes place at The Barley Mow on Tuesday 20th December at 8.00pm; three courses for £12.95 – contact David Derrick or Simon Rudd for details by Wednesday 14th December at the very latest.

We are planning to have a Poker Night at The Long Hop in February and a pre season event too, so look out for details of these events.
