Wellington Sunday XI’s home friendly match with Somerset League Division Two side South Petherton was washed out last weekend by heavy and prolonged showers on the morning of the match.

Fixtures between the two clubs have a history of been affected by the weather with two of the four 1st XI league fixtures played in 2007 and 2008 been abandoned as draws.

Better weather is hoped for in August when Wellington travel to South Petherton.
