We have signed off to the Somerset Cricket League our newly formed Saturday 3rd XI side for season 2013.

A lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes this close season by many people to bring more cricket than ever before to the Club and it has come to pass today.

Our new side will play in the SCL’s Division Nine North West and will make it’s bow against Banwell and Churchill 2nd XI away on Saturday 4th May.

We are indebted to Paul Short, Simon Rudd, Steve Symons, Richard Henwood, Marc Holloway and others who have worked so hard to make this happen; we owe a debt of thanks to external partners Wellington School and Nynehead CC too as they will be hosting some of the team’s home games.

We will be electing a Captain and Vice Captain for this side at our AGM later this month.

Another exciting development for our Club I am sure you will all agree.
