Wellington Reds are ninth in the thirteen strong Taunton and District Saturday League Division Three after this tough day at the office at Fivehead Rovers Athletic last time out.

Whatever the home side hit it went in as deflections, pot shots and the odd decent finish saw Wellington Cricket Club’s winter sporting section concede double figures.

Tobi Jenkins scored a brace for the Reds who are away to basement boys Bridgwater and Albion, one of three teams with no points so far this season, on Saturday 31st October in a game that begins at 2.30pm…

To follow it is a Friday evening engagement with Division Two side Bridgwater Grasshoppers in a Second Round Rowbarton Charity Cup tie at Castle School’s 3G facility on Friday 6th November from 8.00pm.

The Reds also still await who they will play in their Seward Cup Second Round match as the result from the tie that will supply their opposition is unknown.

The First Round match between Norton Fitzwarren Firsts and Bridgwater and Albion had been set to be played on the evening of Friday 23rd October,  but no result has yet been filed.
