Wellington lost their unbeaten record in Division B of the Somerset Cricket Board’s post Christmas Indoor League competition that is based in Crewkerne when they lost by six wickets to Crewkerne themselves last Sunday evening.

Batting first Wellington were all out for 94 with two balls of their twelve over allocation left.

Luke Vernon with 22 top scored for the Red and Blacks with Tyler Fyfe (17), Oli Beale (16) and Arron Campbell (11) getting into double figures too as Rowswell and Male each took two wickets for Crewkerne.

Wellington did not it right with the ball on the day as they sent down too many extras as Lawrence with 23no and Rowswell with 19no were not separated and so took the points on offer.

Wellington play twice more in Crewkerne with games against Long Sutton B and Ilton on Sunday 25th February and Sunday 11th March respectively.
