  • Opening Remarks

Mark Salter noted that over sixty young players had attended the opening Youth Section Winter Training Session for 2018 and that showed a vibrancy for a New Year

There was much to do though in 2018; the previous year had seen much capital expenditure take place for good reason, but it meant that the Club’s finances had been well used and these needed to be replenished – supporting social events better and making more effective use of the bar facility after matches was crucial in 2018 as was ensuring that all membership fees are paid on time and in full and same for match fees – every pound matters; to facilitate matters installing a PED for card transactions was under serious consideration

  • Administrator’s Report

David Derrick’s report had been released prior to the meeting; his operational focus had been on 2017’s season for the 1st XI being deemed that it would be a testing one before a ball was bowled and that was how it had turned out… It would compete in the Premier Division of the Somerset League for the first time since 2012 in the season ahead
