Good Friday Groundworks and Signing-on Session
The Management Committee would like to draw the attention of all members to this season’s ground works session that – as usual – will be held on Good Friday, which this year is on Friday 10th April. The usual tasks to prepare the ground for the new season will need to be performed such as erecting the outdoor nets, sorting out and checking over of kit and hardware, spring cleaning the Pavilion and Scorebox and other miscellaneous tasks.
This season we would like to see as many as possible at the ground to perform these tasks, but there will also be a signing-on session that will focus on membership and the payment of membership fees and to this end the Club’s Membership Secretary Marc Holloway and Treasurer Simon Rudd will be present and will be able to issue you with your membership package and receive the appropriate fee.
Please take advantage of this session as it deals with this most important matter in an effective way and means that it will not be – on the whole – necessary to have to deal with this sort of thing on match days when there is much else to be doing anyway.
Benefits such as being covered by the Club’s insurance policy come with payment of your membership fee, which is £30 for seniors and £10 for those in the 16-18 year old age bracket, in full-time education or who are unemployed.
Junior memberships will be dealt with separately.
Make this a date in your diary, we will get underway from 9.30am.
