Rain on seven days running starting on Thursday 27th July saw that Wellington Midweek XI’s social evening T20 match with local rivals Ashbrittle, scheduled for Thursday 3rd August, was called off the evening before due to the cumulative effects involved.

The whole square had been rendered very wet and was deemed to be unplayable.
