The weather that had an effect on both Somerset and England saw that Wellington Sunday XI’s friendly match with West Somerset League Division One side Bridgetown at their delightful ground was called off on Sunday afternoon due to heavy rain.

After a splendid roast lunch a visit to the ground found the signs not good for play and with the weather not really showing any imminent signs of improving the game was called off for a second season running.
