The entry periods for both the Somerset Cricket Board’s portion of the National T20 Competition for Under 19s and the National Club T20 (which WEPL handles for our region initially) are both now passed.

Thirty-one Clubs have entered the former event and this is up on 2015’s entry pool; the draw for 2016 is to be made on Monday 14th December and will be reported on as and when our detail is known.

Eighteen Clubs (the maximum allowed) have entered the latter competition under WEPL’s banner and they will be put into six groups of three with this detail likely to be announced at WEPL’s AGM which is on Wednesday 6th January.

Our final competitive T20 entry for 2016 will be in the Somerset Cricket Board’s suite of KO Cups where we will enter the competition that is open to WEPL Tier Three Clubs; with the restructuring of WEPL and the effect that has had on local leagues there is very likely to be a change to the set up in this respect.
