Groundworks – Wednesday 24th September – Update

Due to the Football Club having issues with their floodlights at this time we only have available daylight to do this work in this coming Wednesday evening, so 5.00pm – 7.30pm is the timeframe we are going to be working to. All previous arrangements still stand. As the priority is to fill in the holes created by the aeration works the groundworks session that was scheduled for Saturday 27th September is postponed. Details of the next stage of these works

Terry Mockridge Memorial Knockout Cup Match – Monday 30th June

A big thank you to everyone who assisted in the hosting of the match between Bishops Lydeard CC and Watchet CC in this competition on last evening. Wellington CC looked a picture last evening and this was all down to the hard work of the membership who were onsite; this was noted by both the Umpires and the two teams as well. We do the same next Monday when we are playing too in the form of the 1st XI taking

Groundworks – An Urgent Appeal

We need a commitment from ALL CLUB MEMBERS to get stuck in to ground works this week; we have a scheduled home game with Taunton Deane on Sunday 27th April and we are struggling to get this one sorted at this time for several reasons. Outdoor Facilities Manager Simon Rudd needs assistance for several tasks that HAVE to be completed before next weekend, so please find time to help on one or two evenings this week. Simon can be contacted

Cricket Force 2014

Great work done over the weekend for Cricket Force, so thanks to all who gave up some time to come to WCC over the past couple of days; two of the covers still need to be completed, so there will be more to do before we start the season – this coming Wednesday evening has been mentioned in terms of completing the covers and the first outdoor net session is planned if the weather is good. Please make yourself available
