Risk Assessment and Facilities Grading

Friday, April 20th, 2012

A working party of Simon Spalding, Richard Short and David Derrick will be performing a two part assessment of our ground and facilities – the risk assessment is required for Club Mark and the facilities grading is part of the SCL’s quality driven process to improve what is on offer at their member Clubs grounds according to four key principles.

The site visit will take place on Tuesday 1st May at 7.15pm

Nat West Cricket Force 2012

Friday, January 13th, 2012

We are to take part once again in Cricket Force this season; the project runs from Friday 30th March – Sunday 1st April and will focus on the installation of an access gate with keypad to allow those who wish to come into The Long Hop Bar to enter and depart in an easier fashion than is the case with the current gate arrangements; such a new gate will be built next to the current double ornamental gates.

During last year’s Pavilion renovation a trench was dug and cable was laid to allow for this job to be done and we have selected NWCF 2012 as the time to complete matters; labour will be needed to make this a reality, so a commitment from Club members will be sought soon.
