This evening has seen a very well attended youth section meeting that was hosted by Section Secretary Richard Short and Club Welfare Officer Ivor Mitchell at Wellington Football Club.

Richard set the scene for the new season and reviewed another successful winter coaching programme and some good early results already for both the Under 11s and 13s.

Ivor described the Club’s welfare policy and described how this is delivered on a daily basis.

Attention is drawn to the Club’s suite of policies that refer to how it manages it’s youth section; these are drawn from the ECB’s Safe Hands Kit Bag and will be posted on this site very shortly.

Parents are asked to ensure that they have viewed this material and have completed a Player Profile Form for each child of theirs that plays for WCC; to have this completed by month end is the aim.
