Wellington Cricket Club

Our AGM for 2012 takes place at Wellington Arts Centre on Tuesday 24th January starting at 8.00pm.

Paperwork for this meeting will be sent out after the Management Committee meeting on Wednesday 11th January.

Cricket Force is an annual event run by the ECB to promote volunteer work to be done at cricket clubs.

2011 will be the 2nd year WCC has taken part and our goal this year is to finish off the work to extend the pavilion and install a permanent bar by replacing and extending the patio are in front of the pavilion.

We will be looking for volunteers to come down to the ground and help remove the existing paving, digging out and leveling the area for the new patio, digging out a new soakaway channel for drainage and laying the new slabs.

Anyone able to help with labour, tools, experience(!) is most welcome.

Indoor net sessions have been arranged at SCCC on each of the following dates – Monday 21st March, Monday 28th March and Monday 4th April; each session will take place between 8pm and 9pm.

We are planning to have a club day out to watch the 3rd day of the match between Somerset and India.
