Despite the weather seeing that WRFC 1st XV’s game with Truro was postponed yesterday we still enjoyed an excellent lunch and social event when our close sporting colleagues held their Supporters Lunch event yesterday.

A table of ten from WCC enjoyed a two course meal and spoke on the current state and aspirations of both Clubs as one season ends and another one looks to begin.

WCC will be reciprocating by inviting WRFC to tea at a home Saturday game this season and there are other chances to meet socially as well in 2013 such as the WCC PPA and their diary of events, the Inter Club 20/20 event on the Bank Holiday Sunday in August and October’s combined Golf Day.

The links between the two Clubs are very strong and this event underlines this being the case.
