Wellington Cricket Club

The Secretary will be meeting with members of Taunton St Andrews CC and Chard CC on Thursday 10th September to look at the new Sunday League that is to be a cornerstone of our Sunday XI fixture portfolio in 2010.

A fuller meeting will be held in early October when the League will be formed and ratified.

This match will begin at 1.00pm, so we will leave at 11.45am – a prompt departure will assist all.

Team to be notified on Wednesday evening.

This year’s event is now not far away (five weeks this weekend) and you are encouraged to get your ticket orders and menu choices into the system as soon as possible.

The menu choices are as follows,

Starters – Homemade Soup of the Day, Fan of Melon with a Ginger and Lime Dressing or Thai Fish Cake

Mains – Chicken Breast stuffed with Goat’s Cheese and Roasted Peppers, Sirloin Steak au Poivre, Roasted Lamb Chump Steak with Mint, Rosemary and Honey in a Red Wine and Redcurrant Sauce or Butternut Squash stuffed with Ratatouille and with a Herb and Crumb Dressing

Date – Saturday 17th October

Venue – Oake Manor Golf Club, Oake nr Taunton

Timings – 6.30pm for 7.00pm dinner, dancing to 12.30am

Cost – £25.00 per head
