CRB Checks – Information and Guidance Evening

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

As you will be aware there is a need for enhanced CRB checks to be completed by most Club personnel who are  aged eighteen or over and – to this end – a website post with the website address to visit and instructions to follow has been made.

Once there are enough Club personnel with an application pack to hand the Welfare and Protection Officer and Secretary are proposing to hold an information and guidance evening when matters such as completing the form, ensuring that the correct supporting documentation is available, making an appointment with an ECB accredited verifier and sending the form off to the Governing Body will be considered and explained.

Club personnel are asked to inform the Secretary via e-mail (davederrick@wellycc.fsnet.co.uk) when they have received (as opposed to having ordered) their CRB pack and such a session as described above can be set up when there are sufficient numbers to do so.
