For the fourth time in the last six seasons this fixture was claimed by the weather, not on the day itself for the game was called off as early as Saturday morning when the groundstaff at Wellington Playing Fields were unable to get on to the square to do any preparation with the pitch under water.

Weston based side Uphill, who play two divisions above Wellington in the Western Alliance, will host the Red and Blacks in September when better weather is hoped for.
